Started in 2024, Rescue River Enterprises Limited is on a path to employ vulnerable women teaching them the skill of fly tying. Our desire is to skill them well and provide fair wages and benefits allowing them to thrive in their lives.
Flies are artificial fishing luers used in fly fishing, a fun recreational sport millions of people do around the world. To learn more about fly fishing, look at this video (LINK)
Our primary customer is in the USA where fly fishing is very popular. We hope to see more fly fishing in Africa in the future as a way to promote tourism, add more jobs to the economy here and have others experience the beauty of Uganda.
It takes anywhere from 3min to 15min to make one of our products. We have over 36 unique patterns we make while adding more every month.
